The thing that makes kings

A man in violet light crouches in a stairwell holding a sleeping child against his shoulder, the lit windows of the block rising behind him.

Acrylic on wood panel, signed by the artist. This is an original and the only one of its kind — there are no prints and no editions, and once it sells it is gone. The panel is unframed with finished edges and is ready to hang. It is built into a wooden crate in the studio before shipping; crating and freight are quoted separately once your order is placed. Local collection is welcome.
